Key Tasks

Provide the first point of contact for customers / visitors

Early acknowledgement of customers in a verbal & non-verbal manner (as soon as they arrive in the dealership)

When customers are queuing or waiting, engage in conversation and keep them updated about their wait

Ensure line managers are aware of any excess waiting time or agitated customers

Take telephone overflow calls when not answered within dealership departments

Take messages and ensure customers are called back

Use Deal File Messenger and ensure all contacts are actioned

Ensure the customer refreshment area is stocked and clean (When allowed)

Monitor the safety & security of the dealership main entrance

Ensure Eden umbrellas are available and stacked neatly

Ensuring health & safety procedures are adhered to

Be aware of potential customer hazards (wet floors etc.) & take appropriate actions

Ensure that company procedure is adhered to in respect of visitor logging and any other requirements (COVID PPE protection as an example)

Maintain the colleague daily attendance record

Distribution & logging of incoming post and internal communications

Carrying out regular checks of customer toilets to ensure they are clean, tidy, sanitised and stocked

Ensuring communal surfaces within the showroom are regularly cleaned with anti-bacterial wipes and glass surfaces have fingerprints removed

Controlling and maintaining the trade plate and fuel card logs for the sales department

Assist with the maintaining of showroom standards – brochure displays, CO2 downloads etc.

Assist the dealership leadership team with car parking issues
