Peugeot 3008 PHEV Introducing the Peugeot 3008 PHEV Starting From POA

THE PEUGEOT 3008 PHEV

LOCATED IN WOKINGHAM & HIGH WYCOMBE

The Peugeot 3008 plug-in hybrid (PHEV) is a stylish family SUV that boasts a well-designed cabin. Open the flap that is positioned above the car’s nearside rear wheel arch and you’ll discover the socket which is used to charge the car’s battery. This can be done via a domestic mains supply – or at one of nearly 12,000 public charging points located around the UK. Alternatively, with a 7.4kW wall box, the battery can be replenished from zero to 100 percent in less than two hours. With a full charge, the 3008 is capable of an electric-only range of 30 miles.

DESIGN

It’s hard not to be won over by the 3008 PHEV’s design. It combines a sporty stance with muscular proportions to hold its own on any road, and the PEUGEOT i-Cockpit is beautifully done with classy materials, ergonomics and technology.

DRIVE

Whether you drive in hybrid mode or in full EV mode, the 3008 PHEV is smooth and responsive. It’s a brilliant cruiser and even Allure models come with a 180° colour reversing camera, front and rear parking sensors and the Safety Plus pack.

PRACTICALITY

The 3008 PHEV has comfortable accommodation for five adult passengers and dual ISOFIX mounting points on the rear seats. The HYBRID4 has a 357-litre boot while the HYBRID has a 395-litre boot, which is plenty enough for your shopping.

LIVING WITH IT

It’s efficient, it’s fast and it’s beautiful. Some might say it’s the perfect car. GT models boast adaptive cruise control with stop and go, a foot-operated smart electric tailgate and beautiful Nappa Mistral full grain leather upholstery.

Super safe

The Peugeot 3008 PHEV comes with Euro NCAP’s maximum five-star crash-test rating and a host of safety features. Any young ones on board will be kept very secure thanks to the inclusion of three rear-mounted ISOFIX child-seat fixtures and tamper proof rear doors and locks, among other things. And the driver has a number of useful technologies at his or her disposal, such as programmable Cruise Control with Speed Limiter, which allows for a maximum speed to be set before each trip.

PHEV perfection Other than the aforementioned (and very discreet) charging flap and subtle PHEV-specific insignia, this plug-in hybrid looks almost exactly like its fuel-only sibling. This is a good thing – after all, why change a winning design formula? With its raised ride height, gently rising shoulder line and sporty roofline, the 3008 PHEV is very easy on the eye. And it rides on attractive 17-inch alloy wheels as standard, which help deliver enhanced efficiency due to their lightweight yet hard-wearing design.
Sounds great When driving in electric-only mode, this plug-in hybrid’s cabin is especially serene – all the better for enjoying the sounds supplied by a six-speaker stereo featuring an AM/FM radio and DAB tuner. Other standard features include AUX and USB inputs – and Bluetooth, which makes music streaming and hands-free facility a breeze.
