The MG5 EV Long Range hosts a 61.1kWh battery with 156PS output. Thanks to its instant torque application, the MG5 reaches 0-60mph in just 7.3 seconds. An emissions-free drive means you can take the MG5 EV into clean air zones and avoid emissions tax stress-free.
An electric driving range of 250 miles on the SE model (WLTP combined) allows you to go further, supported by an impressive rapid 10-80% charge time of just 35 minutes on a 150kW cable or 61 minutes on a 50kW cable. Also included are three regenerative braking modes to restore energy and prolong the battery. With the MG iSMART app, coming as standard across the range, you can remotely connect to your car with hands-free voice control, controlling functions like finding your car, checking charge, and finding the nearest charging points.
Perfect for business and leisure, the MG5 EV has 578 litres of boot space available with the load cover retracted, extendable to 1,367 litres with the rear seats down. Other practical features include smart keyless entry, roof rails, USB ports, and push-button start as standard. Upgrade to the Trophy model for 6-way electrically adjustable seating, rain-sensing wipers, and rear privacy glass. Special to the MG5 EV Long Range is the Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) system, allowing you to power up appliances with a simple connection to the bonnet. Pack an electric bike, electric pump, or laptop charger, and let the V2L system do the rest with easy charging straight from the car.
