Peugeot has been quickly sharpening its entire range of vehicles, introducing a bold new look to a variety of its core models. Cars like the 408 and 308 have showcased a dramatic new styling approach for Peugeot and now it’s the turn of the 3008 to get a complete refresh.

Peugeot is electrifying much of its range of vehicles and that’s certainly the case with the 3008. It’s available with an electric setup in the e-3008, which brings a range of up to 435 miles from a single charge. Plus, thanks to rapid charging compatibility, you’re able to add up to 62 miles of range in just 10 minutes at a suitably speedy charger.
If you’d like an alternative, then there’s the Peugeot 3008 hybrid. It’s a ‘regular’ hybrid setup - meaning you don’t need to plug it in to charge the battery - but it still brings a lot of efficiency with a combined fuel economy figure of 48.5mpg. It manages this by running on electric-only power at slower speeds, such as when you’re driving around town or travelling in slow-moving traffic.
You’ll find the very latest technology on board each Peugeot 3008 for sale, too. It benefits from all of Peugeot’s cutting-edge features, including a 10-inch central touchscreen which relays wireless Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ so you can easily access your smartphone’s key features via the main display. There’s also a charging plate so you’re able to top up your smartphone when you’re on the move without having to connect with a cable.
The 3008 also gets Peugeot’s innovative i-Cockpit setup, which means you get a compact steering wheel and a screen ahead of the driver that relays all of the key information that you need. Plus, you can toggle between different menus and displays so you’re able to see various sets of readouts. It combines with the main screen to create a striking wraparound 21-inch display setup.
As we’ve touched upon, Peugeot has started implementing some radical new design touches in its cars and you’ll find them present in the 3008. Peugeot calls this car a ‘fastback SUV’, which means that it has the upright stance that you’d associate with an SUV, but with a more coupe-like roofline that rakes backwards and helps to make it look as though it’s moving even when standing still.
You’ve also got smart, sharp headlights with integrated high-performance LED technology. You can get either 19- or 20-inch alloy wheels which incorporate a cool-looking geometric design with each Peugeot 3008.
As a family-focused Peugeot SUV, the 3008 has been designed to offer a good deal of interior space. It’s got a lot of boot capacity - 520 litres, in fact - and you can lower the boot’s floor to free up some extra room, boosting the overall load area to 591 litres. Need some more? Fold down the rear seats and you’ll expand the boot to 1,670 litres in total, making it a very handy space overall.
You’ll also find plenty of cubbies and storage points inside the main cabin of the 3008, too. A split-design central armrest is a handy location for valuables such as phones or sunglasses and ahead of that there are two large cupholders.
The specifications available with the new Peugeot 3008 bring plenty of equipment as standard. Things start with the Allure and, with this grade, you get loads of standard features including the aforementioned curved display, as well as dual-zone climate control for keeping the cabin at a perfect temperature and a reversing camera that should help to make parking a breeze.
Move to sporty GT specification and you’ll get high-performance Pixel LED headlights for even better nighttime visibility, Alcantara trim for the interior upholstery and a heated steering wheel with its own ‘GT’ badge. Plus, GT-grade cars benefit from the Peugeot badges integrated into shields on the front wings. It’s an extra touch which helps to make the 3008 even more stylish.
