SUZUKI SWIFT SPORT for Sale
The Suzuki Swift Sport is affordable to buy and cost-effective to run. This practical little city car is very enjoyable to drive too, and comes with lots of equipment as standard. And thanks to a punchy 1.4-litre 140bhp petrol engine, the Swift Sport is capable of 0-60mph in less than eight seconds. What’s more, it returns up to 50.4mpg and produces CO2 emissions from just 125g/km.
DESIGN
This is a car you can’t help but admire. Its muscular shoulders, striking front grille, carbon-effect rear diffuser, dual-tip stainless steel exhaust and bi-tone 17” alloy wheels combine to create a hot hatch that’s as special to look at as it is to drive.
DRIVE
With 138bhp and 170 lb-ft of torque, the 1.4 Boosterjet engine delivers serious performance, especially when you consider the Swift Sport weighs just 975kg. It handles like no other hot hatch yet it’s comfortable and refined on a cruise.
PRACTICALITY
A 264-litre boot, 60-40 split-folding rear seats and five doors make the Swift Sport as usable everyday as any other hatchback. There’s no compromise, not even if you have children because there’s two ISOFIX points on the rear outermost seats.
LIVING WITH IT
The Suzuki Swift Sport makes life simpler with its premium specification. Standard kit includes keyless entry and start, satellite navigation, smartphone linkage, adaptive cruise control, a rear parking camera, High Beam Assist and Hill Hold Control.
Safe for young and old
Travellers of all ages are kept safe and secure thanks to the inclusion of a range of passive safety features. For instance, seatbelt load-limiters and pre-tensioners are provided in all five positions, while the outer seats in the rear compartment are fitted with ISOFIX anchorage. Childproof rear door locks are fitted as standard, too. Numerous driver aids include Anti-lock Braking System, Electronic Stability Control, Hill-hold Assist, Traffic Sign Recognition, Lane Departure Prevention and Blind-spot Monitoring. The latter uses side-mounted sensors to monitor and report the presence of vehicles pulling up alongside the Swift Sport, which might otherwise go undetected.
Super stylish
The car rides on 17-inch alloy wheels that sport an attractive polished-chrome five-pentagon design. The rear of the vehicle is topped and tailed with an upper and lower spoiler, which hint broadly at the Swift Sport’s pacey inclinations. The car features black-coloured A and B pillars too, as well as rear privacy glass, each contributing significantly to the vehicle’s overall appeal. With all that being said, the Swift Sport is a practical option, featuring a five-door body that provides simple access to a five-seat cabin.
Infotainment highlights
Enjoy the convenience of all-around electric windows and automatic air-conditioning, each making it easy to quickly establish an ideal cabin climate. The Swift Sport also provides an audio upgrade on its standard hatchback counterpart, adding two extra speakers, for instance, for even better sound quality. And this iteration includes a navigation system in addition to DAB radio and AUX, USB and Bluetooth connectivity.
