Mazda is one of those brands which delivers time and time again. From lightweight sports cars to practical family SUVs, it’s a company which focuses on excellent build quality, high levels of reliability and excellent dynamics, which is why we’re proud to offer many Mazda vehicles here at Eden.
But if you’re shopping for a used Mazda, which one should you pick? We’ve selected some of our top Mazda vehicles to enter the used market so far this year.
Mazda showcased a new venture into the world of electrified vehicles with its futuristic MX-30, and now you can find it within our range of used vehicles, too. It’s packed with cool features, too, including many elements which are made from eco-friendly cork.
With a range of around 125 miles, the MX-30 is great for local journeys or the school run and, if you’re able to access cheap home charging rates, you could top it up for well under £10.
The 2 is the smallest model in the Mazda range, but it doesn’t mean it’s lacking in features. One of the best aspects of the 2 is its efficiency; petrol versions like this one can achieve well over 50mpg, which makes it ideal for drivers looking for a low-cost way of getting about.
Remember that there’s also a Hybrid version of the 2, which, as the name suggests, brings some extra electrification for a boost in efficiency. It’s got a slightly different exterior design, too.
The CX-5 is a Mazda for all occasions. It’s one of the brand’s most popular cars, and it’s a real favourite of ours here at Eden. With a good level of space for all those inside, it’s ideal for families, but the person behind the wheel should be able to enjoy the Mazda CX-5’s great dynamics, which can make a twisty road a lot more fun.
There’s plenty of equipment aboard the CX-5, too, with equipment highlights including an 8.8-inch infotainment screen, a seven-inch driver instrument panel and adaptive cruise control being just three items on an extensive list of features.
If you’re after a hatchback with a little bit of character, look no further than the Mazda 3. With a 351-litre boot, the Mazda 3 has more than enough space to offer, while those in the rear have a decent level of room, too.
Inside, you’ll find a minimalist setup which has a clean feeling to it. There’s also lots of storage on offer, with deep door bins providing plenty of space for those loose items. You’ve also got a 10.25-inch infotainment screen, which is a doddle to control thanks to a rotary controller.
The Mazda CX-30 is here for drivers who want a bit of it all. As a compact crossover, it’s not overly large, making it easier to park, but it still has that raised-up ride height, which gives a more commanding view of the road ahead. With a good range of engines, the CX-30 is more involving to drive than you might think, and here at Eden, we’re fond of this car’s smooth six-speed manual gearbox.
But equipment levels are great, too, with all cars getting a usefully sized seven-inch central infotainment screen which houses all of your usual navigation and media functions. You use it via a rotary controller, too, so it’s very intuitive to operate.
With a real focus on comfort and refinement, the Mazda 6 is the kind of car that you’d be happy to spend driving for a long road trip. Available in both saloon and estate specifications, it’s also impressively spacious, with the latter’s 522-litre boot being one of the largest in the segment. It’s got a nice low load lip, too, so putting heavier items into the boot is nice and easy.
The Mazda 6 does well on the efficiency front, too - expect around 44mpg from petrol versions or just above 50mpg for those with a diesel engine. Regardless of which version you opt for, you’ll be getting one of the quietest and most comfortable cars around.
