The 2024 MG3 has undergone visual and technological updates, inspired by the MG5 and MG7, with bold features and sculpted bodywork. The vehicle has grown slightly in measurement, measuring 4,113mm in length, 1,797mm in width, and 1,502mm in height, providing a spacious cabin and larger boot space of 293 litres.
At the core of the MG3 Hybrid is a self-charging Hybrid+ powertrain, combining a 1.5-litre four-cylinder gasoline engine with an electric motor, powered by a 1.83 kWh battery. This setup delivers a combined output of 192 hp, allowing the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 8 seconds! The car offers multiple driving modes, including Eco, Standard, and Sport, to suit various driving conditions.
The MG3 Hybrid's interior features a fully digital cockpit with a 7-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10.25” infotainment system, standard with navigation and Android Auto/Apple CarPlay connectivity. The interior is equipped with modern toggle-style switches, multiple USB ports, and a comprehensive safety suite including the MG Pilot ADAS and adaptive cruise control.
MG emphasises that the MG3 Hybrid will be the fastest accelerating hybrid in its class, thanks to its advanced powertrain. The larger battery capacity compared to other contenders enables longer zero-emission driving ranges.
