Spirits are high after a rewarding weekend of support, sweat, and charity! Our valued colleagues Russell Catlow and Ryan Bull proudly took on the London Marathon challenge yesterday to raise funds for the Ben automotive charity. Covering just over 26 miles, the TCS London Marathon allows runners to enter the event to raise money for charity. Despite the weather, over 48,000 people attended the marathon, making it the biggest gathering in this event’s history!
Ben - Support for Life is a charity that supports people’s health and well-being, whether that focus is on an individual or company. Through life-changing support programs such as consulting, nursing, residential help, and dementia care, the Ben charity operates on a flexible and continuous basis to provide help to those who need it most. Like Eden, the Ben charity aims to provide a better tomorrow.
Russell and Ryan have currently raised £2419 towards this selfless charity, and any future donations will be gratefully accepted. What makes this result so outstanding is that it was achieved even when Ryan suffered a knee injury. Despite the pain, they both stuck together and pushed through to finish the marathon. This level of dedication displays just how committed they and we at Eden are to raising money to help others.
