Future-Ready Performance

The all-new Hyundai KONA features both petrol and hybrid engines to suit your unique driving taste. There is also an electric model that can be found on our models page. First up is the 1.0-litre 120PS turbocharged petrol engine, this great engine delivers a WLTP combined figure of 48.7mpg for the manual variant. You can also opt for a more powerful 1.6-litre 198PS turbocharged engine, returning a 43.5mpg figure on WLTP combined for the manual transmission. Both engines come available with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed automatic transmission.

As for the hybrid version, the all-new KONA features an advanced 1.6 litre fully hybrid system with a 1.56kW battery and 6-speed automatic transmission. This delivers an output of 105PS thanks to a 43.5PS electric motor, and an economy of 60.1mpg on WLTP combined. Thanks to this innovative hybrid system, the all-new KONA cuts down emissions and delivers optimal driving engagement by automatically switching between or combining the electric motor and petrol engine, as well as utilising regenerative braking for battery recharging.
