As Hyundai N's first electric vehicle, the IONIQ 5 N heralds a new era in high-performance electric driving. Supporting a 84kWh battery with a charging time of 10-80% in jut 18 minutes, paired with a total. power output of 478 kW that can be boosted from 609PS to a maximum of 650PS in select driving modes, it is a powerhouse that can sprint from 0-60 mph in just 3.4 seconds! This remarkable blend of speed, responsiveness, and eco-friendly innovation produces a range of up to 278 miles. The IONIQ 5 N marks the beginning of N’s electrification story, paving the way for more electric N models in the future.
The IONIQ 5 N is a sports car designed for daily use, setting a new benchmark for high-performance electric vehicles, with its advanced thermal management, offering superior resistance to heat-induced power degradation compared to competitors. The INONIQ 5 N emulates the visceral thrill of track racing through N e-Shift technology, which delivers a unique shift feeling and engagement typically missed in electric vehicles. The e-LSD at the rear axle enhances cornering performance and control, while the sophisticated N Drift Optimiser maintains drift angles, and the Torque Kick Drift function simulates rear-wheel drive clutch kick action for immediate drift initiation. Additionally, the N Active Sound+ system, featuring a 10-speaker setup with three dynamic sound themes, reacts to the vehicle's speed and throttle position, adding a dynamic aspect that resonates with performance enthusiasts.
An aerodynamic design, featuring an N Mask graphic fascia mesh, an air curtain and active air flaps, provide extra cooling to optimise performance. At the rear, the eye-catching wing-type N spoiler works in concert with a diffuser and air outlet, further enhancing its capabilities. The performance cockpit is designed for both comfort and functionality, featuring a newly designed N steering wheel, N Bucket Seats, and a centre console optimized for track driving with knee pads and shin support.
The IONIQ5 N features a range of customised driving modes to exhilarate. This includes a surge of power from the N Grin Boost, the controlled drifting enabled by the N Drift Optimiser, or the precision of the N Launch Control for maximum acceleration - this EV adapts to your driving desires. The N Torque Distribution allows adjustment of torque to the front and rear axles across 11 levels, ensuring a driving unique experience. Finally, the sleek modular dashboard boasts an extra-wide integrated display, including a 12.3-inch touch infotainment screen and a 12.3-inch digital cluster.
