Innovative Rotary-EV Design

The MX-30 R-EV showcases a 17.8kWh battery and a 0.83-litre rotary petrol engine with a 50-litre fuel tank. The rotary engine selectively recharges the battery for extended range. Independently, the rotary delivers a WLTP combined of 282.5mpg while the all-electric battery gives a range of 53 miles, which is perfect for daily commutes and short trips. When both of these powertrains are combined, their unison delivers an incredible range of over 400 miles! With a 20-80% charge time in as little as 25 minutes on a 36kW rapid charger and 1.5 hours on a 7.2kW home or public charger, the MX-30 RE-V is the perfect daily companion.

With 170PS power output, the MX-30 R-EV is ready to tackle whatever the road throws at it. The e G-Vectoring Control Plus, coming as standard, provides better handling, a smoother ride, and aids in emergency avoidance manoeuvres when needed. There are also 5 regenerative braking modes and the MyMazda App, which allows you to remotely view the remaining range, set the climate control before your journey, and send a destination to your Navigation.

Seamlessly Tech-Savvy

The MX-30 provides an array of tech to seamlessly support your driving and entertainment needs. Information is displayed on an intuitive & clear central 8.8-inch screen which is perfectly positioned at eye level. This provides an abundance of information from Apple CarPlayTM & Android AutoTM to satellite navigation and integrated Bluetooth.

An 8-speaker sound system comes as standard, but you can upgrade to the Makoto for a 12-speaker Bose surround sound system. Also provided is a 7-inch TFT display, as well as a Head-Up display on the windscreen, both available to provide navigation, speed and vehicle status information.

Practical and Functional

The MX-30’s compact nature creates a perfect balance between practicality and driving comfort. A boot space of 350 litres is available, extendable to 1155 litres with the rear seats down - perfect for weekend getaways and daily commutes. Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop and Go function comes as standard across the range, along with a Power Start/Stop button, a tyre pressure monitoring system and Mode 2 and Mode 3 AC charging cables for home and public charge points.

Upgrade to the Makoto for Cruising and Traffic Support, which assists with the accelerator, steering, and brake functions when in heavy traffic to reduce driver fatigue. The Exclusive-Line and above provide heated seating, frameless auto-dimming rear-view mirror and more.
