NEW SUZUKI S-CROSS
With chunky SUV-inspired design, classy piano black interior highlights and a bold LED-illuminated front end, the new Suzuki S-Cross is a family car with a true sense of purpose.
DESIGN
It’s a great-looking car, but also a fabulously well-equipped one with even the entry-level Motion model benefitting from 17-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto smartphone integration.
DRIVE
Power comes from an advanced 1.4-litre Boosterjet Mild Hybrid 1.4-litre petrol engine, offering fuel economy of 53.2mpg and 0-60mph in just 9.3 seconds
FEATURES
Move up the range and the Ultra gets 17-inch polished alloy wheels, leather seat upholstery, a double panoramic sliding sunroof and a 360-degree parking camera along with a suite of advanced safety systems.
LIVING WITH IT
With the driver very much at heart, the new S-cross includes traffic sign recognition and blind-spot monitoring as well as lane departure warning and autonomous emergency braking.
Five-star safety
The new Suzuki S-Cross comes with Euro NCAP’s maximum five-star crash-test rating and a host of passive and active safety features. As well as multiple airbags and five sets of three-point seatbelts, ISOFIX child-seat anchorage and tamper-proof door locks are featured in the rear compartment. Driver aids include Electronic Stability Program – a life-preserving technology that works in tandem with Anti-lock Braking System and Traction Control System to keep the vehicle on an even keel.
Smart, practical
The Suzuki S-Cross boasts good looks and practicality in equal measure. Entry-level SZ4 trims ride on 16-inch alloy wheels, for instance, which not only catch the eye but deliver enhanced efficiency thanks to their lightweight, durable design. All trims feature roof rails too, thus offering additional cargo-bearing options. And a five-door body means that access to the vehicle’s roomy cabin and maximum-capacity 875-litre boot is as easy as can be.
Stay connected
Thanks to steering wheel-mounted audio controls, you’re provided with easy and safe access to the Suzuki S-Cross’ four-speaker stereo system. Wherever you go, you can choose to listen to your favourite CDs or tune into one of more than 250 stations via DAB digital radio. If you prefer, you can plug in and play your compatible media devices by taking advantage of supplied AUX and USB inputs – or stream audio content via Bluetooth, which also enables hands-free telephony.
