Win an i10 - High Wycombe Raffle Now Open!

Go Back

Eden Motor Group is proud of its continuing support to worthy local causes throughout the country. Wherever there's an Eden dealership, there's a team who recognises the importance of community.

Our Hyundai dealership in High Wycombe is no different. This year, we're thrilled to announce that we are sponsoring the Summer Car Raffle, an annual fundraising event for Wycombe High School.

The prize is, as you may have guessed from the name, a brand new car. That's right - we'll be giving one of our pre-registered Hyundai i10s to one lucky winner on behalf of the school.

This year's raffle is now open to everyone and only 2,000 tickets will be sold, resulting in some pretty decent odds of winning the grand prize.

Support a local school, get a free car. What's not to love?

Here's everything you need to know about the raffle itself and how to enter.

What is the Summer Car Raffle?

Every year PAFA (Wycombe High School Parents and Friends Association) run a raffle to raise money for the school. Last year the prize was a Ford Kia.  We have now turned this into an annual event and this year the big prize is a brand new pre-registered 5 door Hyundai i1.0S car.

Raffle is to raise funds for this year’s projects:

-  Additional water fountains to give them more access to fresh water at break and lunch time.

-  Additional lighting and new curtains for the school hall.

The School Hall is a hub for everyone, including the girls and their parents. It is frequently used for concerts, school plays and rehearsals, examinations, PAFA events, Parents’ Evenings, lectures and much more. It is also used by local clubs and companies who hire the school facilities, like Wycombe Hockey Club, Wycombe Wanderers Sports and Education Trust, Chiltern Music Academy and Smart Raspberry Cookery school to name a few.

Are there any restrictions to entering the raffle?

Last year the raffle was only open to Wycombe High School parents, however this year we have opened the raffle to everyone.  As with any raffle there are terms and conditions, e.g. you must be aged 16 or over and a UK resident.

How much are the tickets?

The tickets are £10 each.

Is there a limit to the number of tickets you can purchase?

No, you can purchase as many tickets as you want.

How many tickets are there on sale in total?

There is a total of 2,000 tickets. So that’s 1 in 2,000 odds of a win.  The odds of winning the National Lottery Jackpot is 1 in 45,057,474 – 1 in 2,000 are very high odds! (according to the lotto website).

Where can you get the tickets from?

The tickets are only available online: www.thelittleboxoffice.com/whspafa/

When is the draw?

We are holding the draw at the WHS Sports Day on Tuesday 9 July 2019

When will the winner get the car?

The winner will be contacted straightaway after the draw has taken place and will be able to take the car once all insurance and other regulatory paperwork is completed before driving on public roads. The prize will be collected by the winner from Eden Motor Group, White Hill, Wooburn Moor, Wooburn Green, High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, HP10 0NJ.  The insurance, maintenance and running costs of the car will be the responsibility of the winner from the time of collection of the car

Does the winner have to keep the car?

It’s entirely the choice of the winner – they can keep it, sell it, or gift it.

Does the winner get to choose the colour of the car?

The winner will have a choice of either tomato red or polar white. Eden Motors Group has kindly suggested that if the winner wanted to choose a different colour they could do so by paying the upgrade (£550).

If you cannot enter the raffle is there any other way to help the school?

Yes, you can donate to PAFA again using The Little Box Office website – the funds raised will all go towards helping the school.

Can we see the car?

Yes, the car will be parked at the Wycombe High School for pupils and parents to view.

Can we follow updates about the raffle?

Yes, you can follow the raffle on our Facebook page: Wycombe High School Parents and Friends Association.
