Treat for Fleet: Breakfast Car MeetGo Back
It was a treat for Fleet last weekend as Eden's Prestige and Performance showroom welcomed car aficianados from the surrounding area to ogle some stunning motors (and enjoy a bacon sandwich while they did so).
Saturday's Breakfast Car Meet was wonderfully arranged by Ethan (the mastermind at @carsandbreakfasthampshire) and saw a wide number of locals turn out for the event, held in support of automotive support charity Ben.
Attendees were invited to get hands-on with Eden P&P's impressive array of luxury and performance vehicles as well as take the opportunity to show off their own, with sales of bacon rolls and hot drinks going directly to the charity. "It's fair to say this was my best event yet," Ethan noted on Instagram, adding that over 140 bacon rolls were eaten on the day and a generous £268 was raised. Check out a selection of pictures covering the 50+ cars which drove over to the Eden showroom to take part:
"It was an absolutely class event," concludes one of the Breakfast Meet Up's attendees. "I can't wait for the next one!"
Lee Taylor, manager of Eden Prestige and Performance, adds: "We're indebted to Ethan for his expert arrangement of the event. Great turn out with some genuinely lovely people. We will have to make it a regular event, and maybe a BBQ in the summer!"
Ben is an independent charity service which provides support to those who work, or have ever worked, in the automotive industry. The service was founded in 1905 (a year in which there were only a few hundred cars in operation) by an employee for Dunlop tyres and continued to grow alongside the automotive industry itself, now recognised as an integral support service for those who work within it.
