Following a record-setting 13,075 brand new car registrations during 2019, Chinese-owned MG Motors plans to up the ante by delivering around 30,000 over the course of 2020.
Announcing the next phase in its marketing efforts at the firm’s annual conference in London, Daniel Gregorious – head of MG Motor UK’s marketing department – affirmed that year-on-year growth had enjoyed a healthy increase, in part due to the success of MG’s flagship all-electric model, the MG ZS EV.
“With a second fully electric car to be launched this year, MG’s dealers are geared-up for a busy and profitable year.” In recognition of its expanding network of franchise dealerships, Gregorious adds: “Through a combination of hard work and performance excellence, our dealers are building their local reputations and their local parc, securing a solid future for their MG businesses.”
“With a focus on electric cars, we have a unique opportunity to grow significantly this year. Our ambition is huge and we are confident that we can achieve our goals by working closely together with our dealer partners.”
Eden Motor Group’s two major MG dealerships, located in Newton Abbot and Swindon, are seeing an increased interest in electric vehicles and are proud to display the full range of MG models at their respective showrooms.
